Birds, Wind and an Old Guy.
Birds occupy a very large part of our world, as far as I know they are in every corner of the earth. It is impressive to look skyward to see a flock of Pelicans or Geese in formation 1,000 feet or more high. Nearly every bird I have watched in the wind seems to enjoy playing in it, the Crows have defined activities they partake of. Cormorants will fly sideways with their bodies 45ยบ angled to the wind, flying into it they allow the breeze to carry them straight.

Blue Heron
The Blue Herons are around the slough most of the time. It’s odd when at least one is not within view, they have a loud AWK letting it loose while flying or right before taking off.

Some Days Just Makes an Old Guy Wonder.
There are only 2,000 people on the Island, we all know pretty much everyone. I can’t figure out how some people are able to go out in public after their remarks. It’s always the same people tossing out the same insults to the same insultees, is this nuts or what? Oh Lord please have this self Quarantine end within the next 6 months to one year.

Doves.
Their landings should be of little surprise after seeing how the nests are constructed. Some balance precariously on unstable precipices. Some people are tempted to help them by “shoring” up the works. However the best help we can give is to simply leave them alone to their own devices.
