The Seagulls are absent but the Pictures aren’t.
I give a sigh of relief each time I see a bird successfully navigate and land on the post. It’s impressive to me when the SeaGull lands they strike this pose nearly every time. It may have more to do with balance and landing than anything else but it remains impressive.

Western Gull; California Gull
When I live in Fresno, California, basically a hot dry desert during the summer, a large flock of them would fly from one end of the City on the South to the San Joaquin river and ponds on the North end. This scenario played out every night.

Everyone has different likes which I address by sending a mix of images, she’s free to do what she wants with them. I’m anxious to see the paintings, it makes me wish I was an artist.

Gulls; Formally known as SeaGulls.
Hence the reason the Audubon Society suggests we stop calling them “SeaGulls” and use just “Gulls”. I will continue to call them SeaGulls, it’s just not that big of a deal to me, the plus side is everyone knows what kind of Gull it is.

Birds are Mean; Seagulls are Meaner.
It wouldn’t be such an irritant if the pesky Seagulls weren’t so proud of themselves after the coupe. They appear almost to pose knowing they have an audience.

Run of the Mill; SeaGulls.
They look to me like flying bottles, the bodies are streamlined making it more efficient for the large wings to propel them along. Squawking their way up and down the slough without them the world wouldn’t spin quite as smoothly as it does.

A Sea Lion Shows Up.
Sea Gulls, we have to get up pretty early in the morning to pull one over on them. They are what I call first stage scavengers, first on the scene to grab any morsel flipped off as the messy Sea Lion eats.

The Calm Before the Rain.
The ever present Gulls were around as well, I believe this is a Ring Billed Gull. There are numerous species, which all look pretty much alike. He’s a bit different with the speckles on the breast and the ring around the beak.

A Beautiful Day to be a SeaGull.
The SeaGull did get airborne, he did not fall into the water. He dipped close to it then immediately regained composure and soared skyward.
