Hot weather is interesting it makes me think of becoming a day sleeper and night Owl. It’s nice early in the morning drinking coffee on the water side with a slight breeze carrying the 65°F (18.33°C) directly into my lap.

There’s a pile of tree branches on the Levee after trimming two of our trees to code. The Fire Code requires branches over the Levee not be closer to the ground than 15 feet, we have to keep the fire access lanes open. So my job is to cut all of the limbs to workable sizes and find a use for them. It will take me two weeks working a maximum of 3 hours a day, that’s my limit; I’m confident I will find use for most of the stuff I trim.
