The reality is there is a better than average chance after this brief break from our mild winter it may get a lot windier and wet. If it dries out too rapidly it will start the wild fire season early as it did last year, or with a bit of good fortune it will begin to rain and not stop until May.
I took advantage of the opportunity when a small flock of Canadians made a U-turn in front of me. I saved several of them they were not as B&W as the Gulls.
They typically they don't fly in the fog, so it's left for Skunk-puppy, me and my coffee to unravel it to make sense of it all. The foggy days aren't lost however when worse comes to bad sitting there drinking coffee isn't bad either.
I am not able to handle a water hose any longer as it gets all tangled in the frame of my wheelchair; man how it does get wrapped around it. If I take it out on the Levee the wheels get caked with mud and more often then not I get stuck and she has to come and push me out; then hear about how I should use my scooter when out beyond the house; yeh I know
I wrote this as a word to the wise, use what is included with the machines we purchase, the manufacturer developed them and I must accept that yes they do know best once in a while.Merry Christmas!
At least the MacBook is fixed, I'm working on the iPad; it's a horse of a speckled color I will figure it out. It will enable me to be more particular as what is a keeper.
Well that's my world as it was this morning, I have more Christmas shopping to finish, I better get with it. I don't know how Santa did it before Amazon came around.
Tomorrows a new day that looks like it will be clear. Another bit of rain is predicted arriving this Friday in a minimal amount. The important part is how much snow will fall on the Sierra Nevadas, the snow pack is what makes the difference in our water supply next Summer. We won't be out of this rough by a long shot,
It's best to feed them under a nearby tree as it guards them from being attacked from overhead as well as being shielded from the side the tree is on. Watching one direction improves their chance of survival if a predator makes an attempt.
I continue working on capturing a perfect picture of a Turkey Vulture, I don't accept this image to be near what I am seeking. It has to be a perfect storm so to speak, great lighting, distance and height at eye level; this image displays none of those. It was really too far away to attempt a shot but if it's available the saying is "take the shot."
