Time to Create a Calendar
I have no desire to publish anything for sale, I’ve done that and I don’t like it one bit; I can no longer handle stress. But if I were to be asked or create a Calendar I would chose a theme a bit more relevant to the Culture of the Island.

Morning and Night Landscapes
panoramic of the range hopefully 16 inches x 32 inches, my vision of it is fading.

Rain with Egrets.
Tomorrow we will wake up to steady rain, I will be inside most of the day. My photo session in the morning will be under the patio cover sheltered from the weather. Whether or not the critters will be out is anyones guess but one thing is for sure the air will be clean, a slight breeze will be up and the coffee will be hot.

Rain ending Wildfire Season.
I would like to start leaving food out for them but they will choose meat over any other food and I really don’t want to set it out for them. Peanuts, Sunflower Seeds or Corn I will but none of that will draw them in as long as the pasture across the slough supplies them with carrion. None the less it’s been a great few days; just taking it as it comes along.

Drizzle Pictures
I continue working on capturing a perfect picture of a Turkey Vulture, I don’t accept this image to be near what I am seeking. It has to be a perfect storm so to speak, great lighting, distance and height at eye level; this image displays none of those. It was really too far away to attempt a shot but if it’s available the saying is “take the shot.”

The Storm.
We have rainfalls accompanied with high winds they together cause a few issues however the actual calamity is a combination of issues. Mudslides are nearly instantaneous when the soil gets wet, most of the Mountains are loosely packed shale the rain acts as a lubricant causing the rocks to slide.

Catching Up.
The Great Blue Heron in this image is brown, I’m not sure if this is a newcomer. I don’t recall seeing him around his brown plumage is the tell-tale, in this case I don’t think it’s the sunlight

Green Heron; The Character Actor.
I was watching these guys, Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn I named them, approaching from 3-400 yards away. At first I thought it was a common log we see often drifting with the tide either in or out. I kept my eye on it while watching the Green Heron and noticed some movement.
