Boats at the Docks.
There is a drinking Yacht club on the far side of here, I plan on including it in my blog “Big Boats”. I need to be quick about it as it’s nearly 75 years old and still kind of floating.

25 years had passed since I walked off that drilling platform into the night, that was the first end. The second end was found when I began living next to the river, this is where they planned to pump the toxic water with the idea it would flow to the ocean.

The Snags Amongst us.
It’s hard to know what kills the trees, some are swamp Willows, others Pecans, Cottonwood and Birch. Each year we lose a few, some block the road, others go unseen left to rot in a pasture or the river. All trees next to the river eventually fall into it.

The Wild Blackberries are Ripe, the Thorns make us pay a price.
They also signal the nearing of the spider ballooning season starting in the middle of September continuing until the end of October, the signs of the end of summer are beginning to appear.

I’m about to Make a Major Mistake; once Again.
Mrs. Lebec is in San Francisco, she abandoned me and Skunkpuppy, which means I’m working in the garden while the obnoxious dog chases people. I’ve warned her she can’t be a country dog any longer, but she ignores me, as most females do.
