A 100 foot Slough Walk on A Summer Morning.
That ends a small walk around the Slough, it’s actually more like a 100 foot walk. Some on the water side and as is this Milkweed on the road side. All of the green is comforting on a warm summer morning.

Summers Here; It’s Hot in The Afternoon.
Every day is a new day on the Slough, but even at that some things remain the same.

What’s with the Gulls; On the Slough.
There is no way to know what is in the slough on any given day as we are connected to the Ocean all-be-it 50 miles away. Still Sea Lions, Sturgeon, and other migrating animals find their way here by following one another.

The Baby Animals Will All Be Out Soon.
At that time the slough should be full of activity, Otters, Ducks, and Geese will all have their young out in the sunshine. Until then the Squirrels, Hawks, Owl, and Crows are all just outside the big window in the Pecan Tree.

Crazy Crows; Creatures of Habit.
That was a bit too much activity, too early in the morning for an old guy to handle. One thing is for sure, I’m going to sleep well tonight after all of that I’m exhausted and it’s just now 8:30 am.

Another Day Another Buck 75.
I have been her urban renewal project for many years, I am nearly domesticated. I’m not suppose to wash my hands in the kitchen sink, it’s not like I do all of the time. Mostly its only when she’s not at home because my chances of being caught are much decreased.

I load Mouse traps in order to keep the rodent population to a light rumble, Mrs. Lebec drove them from the upper floors causing them for a while to run amuck through my stuff.

This is a real view of the habits of birds. Most of them exercise similiar traits prior to flying off. The most important is to lighten the load.

Disposable Wildlife? Really?
I follow all kinds of blogs, several are photographers a few post pictures of bugs, OK I said it, they are bugs. I must confess they are interesting bugs, would I stomp on one in the wild? I’m not sure but if I did it wouldn’t be one of the “keepers.”
